The Town of Hingham Annual Hank Maude – “Service Above Self” Veteran of the Year Award
The Hingham Veterans Council is now taking nominations for the 2026 Veteran of the Year
The recipient will be announced during Hingham’s Veterans Day celebration on November 11, 2026 held in Hingham Town Hall.
The individual will receive formal recognition by both the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Senator and State Representative from our District.
The recipient will also be honored with a banner and a ride during the July 4th Parade.
Nominations should be made in letter/essay format, and attached to a completed application form. Submissions can be made via mail, email or drop off c/o:
